Alex Smyk is a junior double majoring in Financial Economics and Environmental Science. He is the President/Publisher of the Columbia Daily Spectator, President of the Columbia chapter of Sigma Nu Fraternity, and Vice President of Columbia's Youth for Debate. He also authored the Fall 2010 cover article of the Columbia Political Review on the plight of environmental migrants. Together with Doug Bienstock, Alan Seltzer, and Robert Frech, he is the co-creator of the internship database site, Whumbly, and its parent company, The Rotunda Group, LLC.
