I have to say that writing WikiCU from the ground up has resulted in a much better wiki than this one about Cornell, where the only active editor seems to have copied a great deal of material from Wikipedia. Take just one totally random example: Alexander Hamilton versus Ezra Cornell. Reaganaut 05:34, 24 April 2007 (EDT)

You're totally right, WikiCU is much better that CUWiki. CUWiki is my project - I started it about halfway through the spring term 2007 knowing very, very little about the Mediawiki software. I put in all the Cornell pages from wikipedia thinking that they'd be a good test setup. My intention is that those pages will remain and get updated from wikipedia once in a while, and new Cornell pages will be added that are locally relevant. Check back in the fall! Cool, it's good to know you're working on it. I would suggest creating some new articles from the ground-up. That's what got WikiCU going - about 100 articles of original content. Only then will people come to the site for info and hopefully contribute some of their own knowledge. Good luck! I'll be interested to watch your site grow. 160.39.130.192 12:10, 11 May 2007 (EDT)
