Barack Obama CC '83 is a US Senator from Illinois and a Democratic party candidate for the 2008 presidential election.

He also tends to forget/ignore his Columbia affiliation, preferring to mention the fact he attended Harvard's law school. While at Columbia, Obama lived off campus, spent most of his time in Butler, and made few friends.
