Dean's List

Dean's List is an academic honor you can get by achieving a GPA of 3.6 (3.5 for SEAS) or higher, without any bad grades (D, F, etc.). The cutoff used to be 3.33, but it was changed because about half of all students were making the list each semester.[1]
It's unclear whether Dean's List actually means anything. In the past, you got a letter of commendation, and a letter was sent to your parents and local newspaper.
