Eric Garcetti CC '92 SIPA '93 is President of the Los Angeles City Council. A Rhodes Scholar, he studied at Oxford and LSE. While at Columbia, he studied urban planning and political science, was a John Jay Scholar, and was president of St. Anthony Hall. He also founded the Columbia Urban Experience and co-wrote and starred in three Varsity Shows.

Garcetti is currently in the running for Mayor of Los Angeles.
