GlobeMed is a student-run nonprofit with a chapter at Columbia and is partnered with a grassroots NGO in northern Uganda that works to prevent and treat HIV. The Columbia chapter was founded in 2008; the current executive director of the national organization was one of the founding members at Columbia.
