The Latino/a Heritage Month at Columbia University strives to promote the awareness of the Latino and Latin American histories, cultures, accomplishments, and current issues during the months of September and October, through student group initiatives and University-sponsored events.
The committee works towards the education and increased consciousness of the Latino/a culture in the greater Columbia community, as well as to strengthen and unite the Latino constituency on campus.
