|Barnard Residential Life and Housing|
Sulzberger Tower or Sulzberger Hall is a Barnard residence hall on The Quad. It was built in 1986-1989 and designed by James Stewart Polshek's firm. Its completion allowed Barnard to house all of its students on campus.
Originally named Centennial Hall, it was renamed in memory of Iphigene Ochs Sulzberger, an alumna and trustee, in 1991.
Each floor has two large "suites," which share a kitchen. There is one common access bathroom per floor.
Only rising-Seniors may select the singles during Room Selection (anyone may select into the 2 doubles per floor).
Entrance is wheelchair accessible and elevators stop at all floors.
Floor plans are available at http://barnard.edu/reslife/floorplans/Tower.pdf.
