Re: "the website broke a cardinal rule of web design by using a stark white background"

Maybe I'm old-fashioned, but I use a white background in most of my web design work, and most major websites I can think of off the top of my head do too. I'm curious where this came from. Also, I really like the layout; it's simple, uncluttered, and easy to navigate. Anyone want to clue me in why it's so bad? Jiabao 00:11, 1 April 2008 (EDT)
