Who is Kim Manis and why is she so awesome (let alone noteworthy)? Unless more is added, this page should be deleted. Adolph Lewisohn 23:08, 18 March 2007 (EDT)

  • Delete. Keep as the first "victim" of a NPOV dispute. Admin 23:13, 18 March 2007 (EDT)
  • I wanted to put up one of those wikipedia "the neutrality of this article has been disputed" banners up for this. I bet you Kim Mains is totally not awesome. wang 23:19, 18 March 2007 (EDT)
  • I know who she is (VP SEAS 09); I would say that she is wiki-worthy, as long as the entry is something else other than "Kim is awesome".Ttan 23:22, 18 March 2007 (EDT)
  • Does she live in McBain? Looks like the IP is a McBain address. Shameless self-promotion sucks, in my opinion. Adolph Lewisohn 23:26, 18 March 2007 (EDT)
  • No. East Campus, according to this. Admin 23:32, 18 March 2007 (EDT)
  • No, I live in McBain. I will be living in East Campus next year. The directory is wrong.
  • Can you center the NPOV banner and make it larger / more threatening looking, like on Wikipedia?Ttan 23:30, 18 March 2007 (EDT)
  • I tried but my <center></center> tags didn't work. Admin 23:32, 18 March 2007 (EDT)
  • The contents of that template were: <center>'''We are indebted to {{{Names}}} for this article.'''</center>. But the center tags don't seem to work on the POV template. Admin 23:35, 18 March 2007 (EDT)
  • On a semi-related note, can you "lock" my name under the history of MS campus site? THanks. Ttan 23:36, 18 March 2007 (EDT)
  • I don't think that's possible. However, we're soon going to implement a page protection feature whereby certain namespaces, articles or even parts of articles can be view or edit restricted. We can place your name in one of these spaces (contained by 'protect' tags) and trust the admins not to delete it. Admin 23:43, 18 March 2007 (EDT)

Explanation by original author

I was bored!

  • but i'm not at butler.
  • It doesn't quite matter where you're bored at; it just can't be here.Ttan 23:53, 18 March 2007 (EDT)

Attempted resolution by adding "Kim Manis sucks."

I'm not sure if that's all too accurate, at least from most people I've spoken with on the matter. Disputable, perhaps? (This is in reference to the 3/22 edit). Adolph Lewisohn 19:19, 22 March 2007 (EDT)

Resolved

Or at least, I think so. Admin 19:57, 22 March 2007 (EDT)
