Bourgeois but still gentrifying around the edges, Park Slope is a Brooklyn neighborhood known for ex-hippies who shop at its food co-op as well as for its literary community. It's home to quite a few Columbia graduates, though most are not hipsters; the latter congregate in Williamsburg.
