Absolute Bagels was a bagel shop on Broadway between 107th and 108th St.
It was the best bagel shop in the Morningside Heights neighborhood since its rival, Columbia Bagels, shut down. On weekend mornings, there would always be a long line, but it was worth it for the fresh, hot bagels and excellent lox. Their variety of spreads were another reason to make the trek.
Unfortunately, in December 2024 the shop was forced to shut down by the city's health department.
