David Denby

David Denby CC '65, School of Journalism '66, is a film critic and staff writer for The New Yorker.

In 1991, he returned to Columbia to take Lit Hum and Contemporary Civilization for a second time. His book, Great Books is a reflection on his personal experiences and impact of the courses.
