George Chapman Olive III CC '08 won one of Columbia's first Rhodes Scholarships in a long time in 2007, along with Jason Bello. He has also won a Marshall Scholarship, and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. Olive hails from Springfield, Missouri and double majors in Econ and Earth and Environmental Science.

He will spend his time after graduation studying Economic and Social History at Oxford before moving to McKinsey and then "working in the alternative energy sector in developing countries".
