The Hallelujah Man is a legend in the area of Morningside Heights on Broadway near the southern end of Columbia's campus. The Hallelujah Man famously walks the sidewalks of this area for sometimes hours at a time, several times each week, while yelling phrases such as, "Hallelujah", "Jesus loves you", and "I love you" among others. He often wears a trademark brown overcoat and fedora.

He was depicted in the 2009 Varsity Show.
