The Interim Governing Body (IGB) was a transitional funding organization that existed during the 1997-1998 academic year and was created by a coalition of the undergraduate student councils and Student Development and Activities. It was created to remove the burden of funding the over one hundred student organizations at the time from the councils. In the following year, it would be renamed the Activities Board at Columbia.

The acronym should not be confused with the Interschool Governing Board (also IGB), which was established almost ten years later in 2006.
