Jerrold Nadler CC '69 is a US congressman representing New York State's 8th district, which includes much of Midtown and Downtown Manhattan. While at Columbia, he was a member of Alpha Epsilon Pi. After college, he attended Fordham Law School before being elected to the New York State Assembly, his entry into politics.

His son, Michael Nadler, graduated from Columbia in 2007.
