Kitchenette is a restaurant on Amsterdam Avenue, between 122nd St and 123rd St. Kitchenette offers a wide variety of "comfort foods", but truly shines in the brunch department. Portions are very generous, pancakes are fluffy and huge, butter is creamy and you know it's bad for you when you eat it, omelettes are big and tasty, and there are a variety of salads if you want to avoid a heart attack. There are also pies and other desserts available at the front if you are in the mood for a little mid-day snack.

On the weekends, be prepared to go early as the breakfast and brunch crowds fill up the small restaurant early.

Kitchenette uptown is a spin-off of the location in TriBeCa.

The cakes are simple yet sinfully delicious. If your RA asks for study break suggestions, immediately demand Kitchenette Cakes with cold Milk. You won't regret it.
