Panino Sportivo is a sandwich place on Amsterdam Avenue at 122nd Street, located below Plimpton.
Panino Sportivo serves excellent panini sandwiches, with good bread, high-quality Italian ingredients, and prices to match. The sophisticated salads are also very good. Apparently, the Nutella hot chocolate is "to die for".
Unless you live on Amsterdam, it's a bit of a walk for lunch, but it's a great place to snack and watch soccer on TV.
