The Pupin Medal for Service to the Nation is given by the Columbia Engineering School Alumni Association in conjunction with SEAS and the university itself. It is considered the most prestigious prize given by the school.

The prize was established by CESAA in 1958 in honor of the 100th anniversary of Michael I. Pupin's birth.
