Rhode Island is the bemusing nickname for a surveying mistake that resulted in a microscopic gap between the boundaries of Connecticut and Massachusetts. It's just large enough to fit the campus of Brown University, but given how few books actually get bought and read by the students who go there, it's probably not that tight a squeeze.
