The following spaces are ideal for studying:

During Finals

Butler Library

  • 24/7 Milstein Reading Rooms: 202, 209, 210, 211, 212, 213, 213a, 214 (Butler Lounge), 303, 303a, 304, 403, 403a, 404, 405, 406a, 406, 407, 408, 409, 409a
  • Butler 301 and 310 are open 24 hours a day for finals period.
  • Butler 203 will be open Monday through Friday from 5pm to 9am, and 24 hours a day on Saturday and Sunday, for finals period.

Hamilton Hall

  • Rooms 309, 313, 317, 318, 404, 613, 616 and 707 will be available as study space until 11pm
  • After 11pm all the rooms on the third floor and all the rooms on the 4th floor will be available all night.

Skylounges

  • Both Schapiro and Broadway Residence Halls have skylounges on their top floors for quiet study. The Schapiro lounge in particular has sweeping views of the Hudson and cityscape.
