Will Truman CC '87 was one of the title characters on the show NBC sitcom Will & Grace, about a gay man and his best friend. A Connecticut native, Will attended NYU Law Schol after graduating from Columbia, and became a partner at a major firm. According to the show, Will met his best friend Grace Adler at a party in Carman Hall their freshman year and they briefly dated before he came out of the closet. Will Truman was played by actor Eric McCormack.
