River is a residence hall that almost exclusively houses seniors. It was completely gutted and renovated during the 2000-2001 school year.[1] River is located on 114th St close to Riverside Drive.

Residents are traditionally known as "River Rats".

Advantages

  • Some rooms have a view of the Hudson
  • 117A/117B is a spacious walk-through double on the ground floor that usually goes to juniors
  • Beautiful lobby that feels like it belongs in a bed and breakfast hotel
  • Massive-screen TV in the basement lounge

Disadvantages

  • Uphill walk to campus, and even then, you're on the extreme southwestern part of it
