  • Whatever Barnard is, I'm pretty sure it's not a "division". Same with CC, GS, and SEAS. Nateoxford 20:38, 6 October 2009 (EDT)
    • no way it is not. it is an autonomous entity with which CU has a signed agreement. HOWEVER cc, gs, and seas are divisions of CU. Foobar 03:50, 7 October 2009 (EDT)
      • also i took out "at Columbia University" in the phrase it was founded for female undergraduate students at Columbia University. this makes no sense. Foobar 03:47, 7 October 2009 (EDT)
        • even if it were legally accurate there was no such thing as "columbia university" until 1896, 7 yrs after 1889, barnard's founding (data from wikipedia) Foobar 03:49, 7 October 2009 (EDT)
