Amir's Falafel was a small Middle Eastern restaurant on Broadway between 113th St and 114th St. It was noted for being fast, cheap, filling, healthy, and generally pretty good. And in any case, it was the only falafel place in Morningside Heights. They also had baklava, but some thoughtArtopolis was a better go-to.

Amir's had limited seating and closed fairly early. These may be some of the reasons it closed down in late 2018. Like every other veteran business in Morningside Heights, it would soon be replaced by a generic fast-casual joint, this time becoming Dos Toros.
