The Award for Distinguished Service to the Core Curriculum was established to recognize faculty members and administrators for devotion to the Core Curriculum outside of the classroom, including, but not limited to chairing one of its courses, serving on one of its committees, participating in formal discussions about it, and publishing material on the Core’s nature and purpose.[1]
