Sledders in Riverside Park

Riverside Park loosely refers to a stretch of fairly undeveloped land located on the banks of the Hudson stretching roughly between 59th and 181st streets. The actual park-like portion of the park lies between 72nd and 125th.

For Columbia students, Riverside Park is a pleasant natural respite from our urban jungle, especially for residents of River and Woodbridge. However, it tends to be on the bland side.

On heavy snow days, the park is transformed into a vibrant sledding and snowball-fighting center for Morningside Heighters and Columbians alike.
