ServiceNation Presidential Candidates Forum
The ServiceNation Presidential Candidates Forum is an event involving presidential candidates Barack Obama and John McCain. Vaguely encapsulating the notion of "service", it was held in Lerner Hall on September 11, 2008. Student groups fell over themselves to try and capitalize on the event by piggybacking onto it their own activities. A lottery determined which (few) students made it in the hall; most of the rest watched the event on a large jumbotron set up next to the Low Steps or in their dorms on CTV.
