:*I actually counted back- 40 days before CC Class Day (a tuesday) makes it a Thursday event. 40 days before Commencement (A Wednesday, and technically the Graduation day) makes it a Friday. Usually the Spec runs an article the next day about the administration being peeved about the mess. So I'm going to go with Thursday on this one.
