Representation of the "Teaching Lion"

The Teaching Lion is a sculpture by Stanley Wyatt located in the Robert M. Rosencrans Reading Room on the ground floor of Butler Library. It was commissioned in 1992 by the Society of Columbia Graduates and is on display with a plaque honoring winners of the Great Teacher Award.
