Gamma Phi Beta (Gamma Phi) is a campus sorority recognized by the Panhellenic Council. In 2012, it was one of the two sororities approved to create a colony on campus. Gamma Phi began colonizing in spring 2015. Currently, Gamma Phi is the third largest Panhellenic organization nationally, and its Columbia chapter has approximately 100 members.

Gamma Phi's national philanthropic effort is focused on Girls on the Run in support of their mission of 'Building Strong Girls.' On campus, the chapter runs philanthropy events that include Moonball, an annual basketball tournament in Levein Gymnasium in March.
