Cornell University is New York State's other Ivy League school. Located in the gorgeous upstate Finger Lakes region, it's known for being filled with highly creative and intelligent students, having phenomenal physical science academics, a top engineering program, and the top ranked architecture program in the country. In addition, it was recently discovered that Carl Sagan and Richard Feynman taught there, in addition to Bill Nye (who is also an alum).
Cornell students are often noted for their indifference to their Ivy League status. For example, when alumni from each of the eight Ivy League schools were asked where they attended college, they responded:
